Adding People Will Not Fix A Crisis

Health insurance coverage at one time in the not too distant past, used to be the least of our worries. It was affordable and commonly available for free from employers. This began to change, as notable increases for health insurance was being passed on to employees and taking off some of the burden to the employer. This steady annual increase in policy rates began to create a out of control financial burden for the American public.

The system we have gotten used to has become a out of control twister that is sucking everyone into it's dangerous swirls. Nothing is expected to get better, if anything is will probably bring about a swifter demise and while no one is really against everyone getting health care insurance or extending some help to working families that are desperately trying to continue paying for their own policies, it is easy to see the handwriting on the proverbial wall, but the truth of the situation is if allowed to continue at its present rate, no one is going to win this race.

Simply stated this system is fractured because of the outrageous fees and expenses of U.S. medical care. Practicing health professionals blame the increasing costs on their malpractice insurance rates, but the accuracy of this statement doesn't reflect the financial conditions of the doctors. It is really hard to understand why or how a doctor isn't making enough to live a very comfortable lifestyle because these degreed professionals are on the high side of the income brackets, which means they are getting compensated very well for the services they perform.

If the high cost of medical care is directly related to the amount of malpractice insurance that doctors and hospitals have to carry then the problem lies with the insurance companies once again. Either way the problems with the system lie essentially within the system itself and unless these problems are addressed health insurance premiums will continue to rise even under the latest proposed plan.

If corruption and greed were free, there would be no issues to discuss or needing fixed in the current health care system. The rates for health care professionals, hospitals, clinics or policy holders would be affordable for everyone. However, as most citizens know, only dreams can produce such results, because corruption and greed within the system is alive and well and evidently very expensive and will only multiply when the gates are thrown open for everyone to enter the system.
