Addicting Gamestruly Addicting

So you get onto a website and decide to take the time to examine a new website that has games on it. It looks pretty cool and it claims that the games are ridiculously addicting and one of the best things since peanut butter. Naturally, youre pretty darn excited! Normally, a game console consists of the only addicting games. However, on the other hand.

Sometimes we also feel a bit ripped off as far as addicting games. We try the site, it seems pretty cool, but in the end, we simply play a few games, shrug our shoulders, and run back to our gaming consoles. For those of us without consoles, it can be a bit unnerving to try and find a good game to playespecially one claimed to be an addicting game and then find out that it doesnt actually really do anything! So the question ishow exactly do you know when you have a truly addicting game?

First of all, simplicity. Lets face itgames that are way too complicated arent addicting. Theyre a pain in the rear and most of the time we end up wanting to throw our computer instead of continuing to play the game.

On the other hand, we dont want something that is TOO simple. We dont want to play a game and then find out what it really isnt all that fascinating. Instead, a more addicting game gradually grows more and more complicatedbut not until you have already mastered the primary levels.

Next, good graphics are a must. This isnt saying that we need to be able to see a pimple above the youngest characters left eyebrow, but that we should be able to see a few details that are relevant to the game.

On the other hand, bad graphics arent half bad if they are required to prove a point in the game. For example, if the game was about creating clarity (or something like that), it would need to apply bad graphics before the clarity was added.

These are all important incidences of how you can make a game particularly addicting and also how you can improve your game if it doesnt quite fit the criteria for an addicting game. Make sure to take the time to examine your games and really get a feel for how they look and what you plan on doing with them. Are you going to put your new addicting games online or are you going to put them on a disk and sell them for game systems?

Most of the time, these types of games are put online for free so that the public has access to them. Take a bit of time to decide whether you truly believe that you have created what would be considered an addicting game. In most cases, you may be surprised just how easy it is in order to create a game that is addicting and that earns you a wide fan base.
