Add/adhd Sufferer Should Now Make The Right Choice In Treatment

By:

There have been talks on alternative treatment for ADD/ADHD. Over the years, more and more research have been dedicated to finding alternative treatment of ADD/ADHD so that sufferer need not rely solely on prescribed medication which have been proven to have unwanted side effects.

Most sources admit that the exact cause of ADD/ADHD is unknown. In fact, there may be several factors that combine to produce a state in which the brains wiring misfires and causes the effected individual to display signs of hyperactivity, distractibility, and impulsivity. Interestingly, many of the factors that might cause ADD/ADHD are suspected to be environmental. This means that the cure for ADD/ADHD might just be to remove whatever exists within the environment that has caused the problem.

But, is it really that simple?

There are proves that ADD/ADHD is a disorder that can be overcome. Many of those suffering from it has been doing so successfully and this is quite a breakthrough since the medical community and researchers has not had many success in doing so with prescribed drugs. Because of this, research on non-prescription medication has bloomed.

Remember saccharin? That harmless sweetener touted as a panacea for diabetics who could finally enjoy sweet treats? Saccharin was eventually discovered to be a factor in developing cancer and removed from the market only to be returned to the market because well, not everyone who used it got cancer.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) determines what is safe for consumers and it makes its decision based on considering the benefits of the product on a large number of people than the harm it does. The public should then educate themselves on what is best for them personally and only by making this intelligent decision can save themselves.

Our body naturally cannot accept chemical additives, sweeteners, or preservatives.

Mankind can survive with all that nature has provided for him and chemicals such as processed sugar, food additives, chemical preservatives, natural light deficiency, and heavy metal toxicity (lead, mercury, and cadmium) are not designed to be ingested by our human body. It is no wonder then that the existence of these substances can cause chaos in our system thus contributing to attention deficit disorder/ADHD.

What can be the answer to something that is pointed straight out by research?

Here are points to ponder.

Since ADD/ADHD is thought to be caused by imbalance in the bodys natural state, there can only be one proper way of rectifying that which is natural alternatives.

The body has suffered from chemical additives, nutritional deficiencies, and toxicity that has caused it problems therefore, eliminating them should be a great relief to the body or even curing it eventually.

It would be easy to decide what the proper treatments for ADD/ADHD sufferer when we know for a fact the problem is due to the lack of certain nutrients such as calcium, B vitamins, tryptophan, tyrosine, and magnesium; and too much of toxic substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, processed sugar, food additives, and artificial chemicals.

Using more chemicals, i.e., drugs, in the treatment of a disorder that is caused by too many chemicals and too few nutrients now sounds like the least intelligent decision doesnt it?
