Add To Your List Of Things To Do Las Vegas

My husband has a business trip in Las Vegas and he wants to make a family vacation out of it. I am hoping that we can find some family friendly things to do so I thought I would go to the computer and do a Google search for "Things To Do Las Vegas." I made a list of things we could do while we are there. Las Vegas is a wonderful city that actually has more to offer than the typical night life scene. There are great hotels to choose from. You can stay right on the famous Las Vegas Strip or you can branch out to places that are closer to nature.

Since we are bringing the whole family on this trip I when I did my search for "Things To Do Las Vegas" I checked out hotels that did not have a casino. I found a good list by checking "Las Vegas Hotels." I decided that we would stay just off the Las Vegas Strip so we could be close enough to some of the fun things there and we could go from there to any of the other Nevada and Las Vegas attractions we wanted to see.

One of the things I don't want the kids to miss in Las Vegas is the Bellagio fountains. I will definitely have it on our list of "Things To Do Las Vegas." The music and majestic water fountains at the Bellagio are the best and I think my family will really enjoy watching them. You just walk, after dark, to the Bellagio Hotel and stop right in front. The show plays every few minutes. The fountains are choreographed to great music and they shoot so high into the air that it really is impressive.

Even though it is a little bit out of town, about 250 miles out of town, I really want to include the Grand Canyon National Park on our list of "Things To Do Las Vegas." There are tours that leave from the Las Vegas Strip and travel there. A stop at Hoover Dam is included. That was another place I did not want to miss. The Grand Canyon National Park is a breathtaking natural spectacle that is well worth the trip to see. The bus tour sounds like it is very informative and a good way to see the sights in that area.

Another fun item on our list of "Things To Do Las Vegas" has a European flair. If we want to see a little bit of Paris while we are in Las Vegas, there are replicas that are built to scale of some major attractions just across from the Bellagio fountains. Las Vegas has its very own Eiffel Tower, The Louvre Museum and the famous L'Arc de Triomphe. One great idea I saw was to have dinner at the restaurant on the top of the Eiffel Tower. The view of the Bellagio fountains is supposed to be really good from there.

I found another thing I wanted to add to our list of "Things To Do Las Vegas." I want to take the kids to Freemont Street. This is no casino. I read that there is a dome that has been built over the entire street. It goes over the street for several blocks. They put on a light show using millions of lights under this dome that is synchronized it to well-known music. Freemont Street also has people walking amongst the crowd who are impersonating celebrities and there are two stages on the street that have free live music.
