Acura used cars like there RSX Model was developed back 2001 to replace the very popular Acura Integra. There are two different models that the RSX has to offer, the base and the sport version. The RSX comes in a two door hatch back only and comes Standard with 16-inch wheels, antilock four wheel disc brakes, front side air bags, automatic climate control, sunroof, leather upholstery and the S-Type model also offers a CD changer. Also the S-Type is much faster than the base mode and so the suspension is much more firmer. I found two different fuel statistics for the different models the RSX has to offer. The base model has a fuel rating of 8.5-litres, per 100km, for city driving and 7-litres, per 100km, for highway driving. The Acura RSX S-Type model had a fuel rating of 10-litres, per 100km, for city driving and 7-litres, per 100km, for highway driving. As you can see both versions of the Acura RSX are great at the gas pump.

The base and their best model come with a four cylinder, 2.0 engine that was equipped with the i-VTEC, an advanced variable valve timing system. That engine produced 160 horsepower, with 141 pounds, per feet of torque. The Type-S has the same engine but the i-VTEC platform boosted the Horsepower to 200 and gave it 142 pounds, per feet of torque.

Lets look at some of the pros and cons of the Acura RSX as a used vehicle:

1-A leading online consumer watch dog gives the RSX a good rating as used vehicle to buy.
2-The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave it a five star rating for a driver and passenger crash test done to it.
3-There are reports from a Acura RSX web forum that noise comes from the front ends of the vehicle.
