In ACN, and every other network marketing company, you have to build a downline. Also, most network marketing companies teach their distributors the same thing when it comes to building a downline. I guess I am not wrong by saying that you have been told to make a list of people you know, and then begin showing every single one of them your great opportunity, ACN. And when you have asked every person you know, you should go and chase strangers on the street, and if you just follow the "ACN system" you will for sure achieve success with this fantastic company ACN.

But if the above really is the case, then how come 97% of people who join a network marketing company fail? Why would the company teach us these techniques when it has shown not to work for more than about 3%? Truth is; the system works, for the network marketing company, in this case ACN. Because the network marketing company (ACN) grows. Even though we do not achieve success, we pay the sign up cost of X amount of dollars to get involved with the company and hereby start our own little business and most finds both some customers and a couple of new distributors, providing ACN with growth and the company is satisfied with "the system". You either quit or you stay in the ACN, with a small hope of suddenly meeting the person that will make your ACN downline explode.

Also your network marketing company has probably offered you a replicated website. Great, right? This will really help your business explode and people will start coming to you to join your ACN busine... wrong! First of all, you have to pay for this replicated website, and again, the company benefits from it, they make a fortune from this monthly fee from their many distributors. If you do not make any money, those dollars you use to pay for the replicated website is a complete waste. Second of all, a replicated website is not going to help you to get leads.

What you do need to build you downline in ACN, and every other network marketing company, is leads. You want people who have an interest in your product to come to you. You need to stop bugging your friends and family - ACN may be the right thing for you, but it is certainly not for everyone, and people around you will most often be very sceptical.

Leads are what will make your business explode - not your family and friends. So what is important for you is to have many, many leads. These leads should be targeted leads, because you want leads whom have an interest in the benefit that you offer. Hereby you will be the solution, not the irritating friend or family member that keeps bugging everyone with this, trying to convince everyone that ACN is SO great - it is a waste of time, just as the replicated website is a waste of your money. The replicated website is not going to generate any leads for you to grow your ACN downline.

You have found something that caught your attention, ACN. Perhaps the fantastic video-phone! But remember that not everyone will find this as exiting as you do. It will make everything much easier and more fun if people who are interested and hungry for more information will be right in front of you, instead of having to chase your prospects. And to make it absolutely clear and say it as it is: replicated websites does not work when it comes to exploding your downline in ACN or any other network marketing company.
