Uses of acid based products are quite extensive in the commercial circles. Chemicals that are either developed or are manufactured for use in the industrial operations and research are mostly acid products based.

Industrial Use of Chemicals and Acids
Industrial Chemicals and acids are used for various purposes like

Acid Products

It is also widely used in the production of vinyl acetate monomer, acetic anhydride as well as ester productions. However, the volume of acetic acid in vinegar is comparatively small and there are many other synthetic products in which larger amount of acetic acid are included. Multiple other acid products are there like the boric acid that is a weak acid and used mostly as antiseptic element. Other acids include benzoic acid, chromic acid, citric acid, and glacial acetic acid.

Acid Fluorides
Numerous types of acid fluorides are also used in industrial chemicals. For instance; ammonium acid fluoride is an inorganic compound and the formula is NH4HF2. The acid is produced from ammonia and hydrogen fluoride and is one of the components of glass making silica. A couple of other important acid fluorides in the industrial circles are the potassium acid fluoride and sodium acid fluorides.

Acid Pyrophosphate
In addition to the acid products and fluorides, acid pyrophosphate also occupies an important place in the industrial use. For example, sodium acid pyrophosphate is one of the buffering as well as chelating agents and is extensively used in food processing industries, food chemicals, leather treatment chemicals, and dairy application.

Numerous other acid based products like aluminum fluoride, bisulfate chemical, barium metaborate, ammonium hydroxide, caustic soda, carbonate chemicals, and hydrogen fluoride etc are extensively used in the industrial circles.
