Design
The net book weighs less and is thinner as it has a three-cell battery now. This model is available in Seashell White and black. The whole machine has the same metallic-flake finish. The cool white body suits consumers with a classic taste. Inside, the keyboard and the palmrest are also of the same shade with a brushed metal finish. The glossy 10.1-inch wide LED-backlit LCD screen is surrounded by shiny black plastic and is sharp and crisp. The keyboard feels comfortable to type on. The touch pad is definitely an improvement with better response.
Core features
Intel's Atom N270 processor with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 945 gives it the standard combo for almost all Netbooks. 160GB hard drive and 1GB of DDR2 RAM with Window XP Home SP3 are decent for minimal tasks that you perform here. For basic Web surfing, media viewing, and accessing office documents, it works perfectly well. It doesn't handle full-screen or HD-streaming video well. When it comes to batteries, it lasts 2 to 3 hours and gives around 1 hour and 50 minutes of video playback.
Connectivity
The same budget no-frills ports are available here; while three USB 2.0 jacks are pretty generous, it also has VGA, Ethernet LAN, an SD slot and headphone and microphone jack surrounding the chassis. It is equipped with Wi-Fi WLAN, Bluetooth and Webcam - 0.3M.
Cons
There's no CD/DVD optical drive.
Verdict
Acer's even cheaper version of the 10.1-inch Aspire One is a good value for money. It gives you only one color option in diamond black other than white but portability and easy connectivity makes it nice package.

The Netbook is a very lightweight and has a strong structure. The design is modern and the speed is decent. This is great for pick up and surf. so I like this leptop.
This is a very solid little laptop with a lot packed in. The 1GB RAM really helps with photo and video editing, disk can hold a lot of images. I especially appreciate the very large keys and decent spacing between the keys - its one of the most comfortable keyboards I have ever used on a laptop.
Portable, easy to use, even runs office and can multi-task. I'd use a copy of XP that's been "lited" but I found this machine a little cracker and it's my preferred machine to use on the move. Buy the Linux one and then stick XP on it.
