Whether you are into metal music, or not, you have -- most likely -- heard of AC/DC. AC/DC will go down in history as one of the greatest bands in music history; they are already on this path. Fans, across the globe, buy up tickets to live performances quicker than they can be released. Not many bands can outperform pre-recorded performances, but AC/DC will give you the show of a lifetime when you see them perform live.

AC/DC started, as a band, back in 1973. Two brothers, Angus and Malcolm Young, had a passion for music and just went with it. Since then the band has become globally renowned. The talent, that each member has, is unbeaten by any other metal band out there. It is this talent and passion that drives AC/DC and what makes them who they are today

AC/DC toured the world on what was being called the Black Ice Tour. The tour was such a success that the band extended the dates, along with the number of stops, bringing the tour to a close in 2010. They have added more than a dozen stops in North America. December 20th jump started the extended tour in Fort Lauderdale, FL. AC/DC did not come to a resting point until after January 31 when they brought the tour to a close in Nashville, TN. You could have seen the band in many different locations, throughout this time; a few of which include Pittsburgh, PA, Ohio, Ontario, and Cleveland.

The Black Ice World Tour was scheduled to hit a number of big cities, during its regular scheduled tour dates. Having said this, tickets -- when first released -- sold out quicker than most had expected. Fans were dying to see AC/DC perform live. With 18 venues sold out, nearly immediately, the band extended their stays in several cities like LA, Oakland, and Chicago. The band, 36 years later, is still breaking records and rocking audiences worldwide.

Whether a metal fan or not, AC/DC is special. Their passion, for music, puts them at the top of the list for metal bands in music history. Even in years to come, AC/DC will be known as one of the legends of metal. Hearing their music on the radio or CD is one thing, but seeing them live is another. Don't miss your chance to see AC/DC perform live on their next tour!
