Jennifer Lopez born ON 24 July 1970 in the Castle Hill area of New York's Bronx on the 24th of July, 1970, growing up on Blackrock Avenue. Her father, David, was a computer technician, eventually working for Guardian Insurance. Mother Guadalupe was a kindergarten teacher working up in Westchester County. The couple both hailed from Ponce, the second largest city in Puerto Rico, but had met in America, where they were both brought as children.

Her top-grossing film domestically is Maid in Manhattan which grossed $94,011,225, and her most successful international film.


Jennifer Lopez Discusses Dancelife

Extra spoke with Jennifer Lopez about her new MTV reality series Dancelife, which shes serving as executive producer. I really wanted to do a show about dancers because I started as a dancer, the In Living Color alum explained.

Jennifer Lopez often receives more attention for two things, her behind, and her relationship with controversial Sean "Puffy" Combs. In 1999 she had her body insured for $1 billion, and had her rear protected with a $300 million policy. During a romance with the artist Puff Daddy, Jennifer put out her next album, "J-Lo", which also seems to be successful. Puff Daddy had input with some of the songs on the album, but he and Jennifer have now gone their separate ways.
