About Bandipur A Wildlife Sanctuary In India.

Bandipur Is one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in India. It is a home to 80 tigers. And other fauna include Leopard, Elephant, Gaur, Sambar, Spotted deer, Sloth bear, Mouse deer, Wild dog, four horned Antelope can be spotted in Bandipur National Park .
It is very easy to see Elephants in this sanctuary. You may not have to return with out spotting a elephant. And deer is found in abundance.

3, Hanging bridge Situated just 1 Km from jungle home. It is a bridge made of bamboo over the flowing river inside the forest. Walking on this bridge will bring an adventurous experience.

4, Pykara lake Is about 40KM from jungle home where boating is allowed. This a big lave surrounded by the green woods. Boating facilities are available .

5, Gopal Swamipeta _ this is a temple dedicated to lord Krishna. It is 40Km From Jungle home on Mysore road. It is believed that when a childless couple visits this place they are sure to bare a child shortly.

6, Needle Point Rockview -- This point is located 20km on the Ooty route, from here one can enjoy panoramic view of Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary and Gudalur town.

7, Good Shepard Farm - This farm is located at a distance of .5 Km from Jungle home. Here you can find 6 varieties of cute pigeons. There is a hen which weighs 4 Kgs . Children will love seeing this big fat hen.

8, OOty : Ooty is the most beautiful hill station of south India. It is a located just 40 Km from Bandipur Via Masinagudi. The place is worth visiting. The climate there is very cold. There is a lake where you can go boating.
