Ball mill is one of high-fine grinding machines that is widely used in industrial production. It has many species,different with
coal mill or
rod mill, such as hand ball mill, horizontal mill, ball mill liner, energy saving ball mill, overflow ball mill, ceramic ball, check ball and so on. Ball mill is suitable for grinding various ores and other materials, so it is widely used in mineral processing, building materials and chemical industry, and it can be divided into two kinds of dry and wet grinding methods. According to different ways of discharge, it can be divided into two kinds, namely, lattice type and Overflow.
In the aerated concrete material machines, the most important equipment is ball mill, it uses lime, gypsum, sand, slag and other materials to grind. Only the material is ground to the required fineness, it can be fully mixed and interacted so as to make products to reach strength, grinding is an important process in the production of aerated concrete, grinding process would consume large power, so ball mill is usually the electrical equipment with the largest capacity in the aerated concrete plant.
Ball mill is composed by leveled simplifier, the feeding hollow shaft as well as grinding head and other components, simplifier is the long cylinder, within the cylinder there is grinding body, cylinder is made of steel, it is fixed with steel liner and simplifier, grinding body is generally steel-made sphere, and it can be loaded into the cylinder with a certain percentage according to different tube diameters, the grinding body can also use steel section, and it can be chosen based on the grinding particle size, while the materials are loaded into the cylinder through the feeding side's hollow shaft, when ball mill's simplifier is turning, the grinding body will post on the cylinder liner and be taken away by the cylinder duo to the inertia, centrifugal force and friction effects, when it is taken to a certain height, it would be thrown down because of its own gravity, the falling grinding body breaks the materials in the cylinder just likes the projectile.
Material is entered the mill from the feeding device, then it will be evenly rotated by the hollow shaft, and then it will be entered the first warehouse in the mill, this warehouse has ladder liner or corrugated liner with different built-in standard steel balls, the rotating cylinder will produce centrifugal force to make the ball to fall at a certain height, which will have severe impact and grinding effect on the material. After material has coarse ground in the first warehouse, it will enter the second warehouse through single-layer diaphragm plate, and this warehouse has flat lining with the steel balls, which will make the material to further grinding. The powder material will be discharged through the discharge grate plate, so the grinding operation is completed.
