A Zigzag Stitch Alternates From One Side To The Other In An Angled Fashion

I doubt there are champion runners or Ironmen that have not experienced a runners high, but its certainly not a requirement to being a runner. The punch zone is not a requirement to becoming a puncher either, but it takes you to new levels and keeps the fire inside alive. The fire not only produces champion designs, but brings you back to your digitizing station hungry each day. You cant help but notice that Im a drummer when you stand at my digitizing station. Drum sticks rest just an arms reach away, resting on top of my computers keyboard, and the drum pad stands right beside me like an assistant staring over my shoulder. I drum all day while I work. Prompted by either a key drum section in my current music selection, or feeling mentally stumped at the moment, I pick up my sticks and begin to drum. It clears my mind and rejuvenates my thoughts. I rarely work and almost never digitize without music. My musical choices range from Mannheim Steamroller to Gloria Estefan. I know without music because it makes me feel creative and ALIVE After watching countless designs run, machine operators know a good design from a poor one. Theyve seen it all, from needle breaks and fraying thread, to poor pathing and letters too small for embroidery. Machine operators understand the mechanics of the machine and what can and cant be done in thread. After determining which best describes yourself, take action to bridge the talents of the person you hired, provide direction to aid in the bridging process. If the person is lacking in embroidery experience, have them work on the operational floor with the operators and build their knowledge of production needs first hand. You might ask a multi head shop if you may observe the production floor or better yet, offer to work for free maybe a day a week to build your experience level. digitize isnt rocket science, but it isnt easy either. Ive found there are two basic views on the subject. Those who arent designers feel its simple and doesnt require much time. This group underestimates whats required and discounts the compensation they should pay for it. Then there are those who are designers, or are learning to be, and they respect the learning curve and understand the complexity involved in the process. The more I learn and teach digitizing, the more I see just how difficult it is to be good. You might discount this advice and think you can do it all, but this is where you have to listen and make decisions with your head and not with your heart. Its a mistake to think you can digitize, and not spend your time running the business, then hire someone to run it for you.
