How wise are you with or without your wisdom teeth? How do you know if a single tooth or all of the wisdom teeth need to stay in or come out? Do you trust your dentist or do you need to have oral surgery. Should you visit a Wisdom Teeth Only facility? Trust your family dentist. Ask him to what needs to be done with your wisdom teeth. Ask him if he would refer you or recommend a Wisdom Teeth Only place. If you need Referral Services he'll suggest them.

Do you have any of the tell-tail signs of Wisdom teeth problems? Sometimes when a wisdom tooth is coming in, your gums may feel sore or tender. This is normal and not a problem. If your wisdom teeth are not causing you any problems, it's better to avoid the costs and risks of oral surgery. Even impacted wisdom teeth that are not causing a problem are just fine and should be left alone. Your Dentist will suggest the services and expertise of an Oral Surgeon or a Wisdom Teeth Only place will be referred.

OK, it's been determined and it's time the wisdom teeth need to be surgically extracted. Some indications are the teeth emerge only partially. Food particles may get in around the teeth and can lead to infection.

My personal experience with my Wisdom teeth removal 30 years ago was similar to what my children experienced recently here in the Provo, Salt Lake City area. My dentist looked me in the eye and said my teeth were impacted but trying to come out. He said all those rumors about swelling like a chipmunk were true. I wish a Wisdom Teeth Only facility was available in my day. He hospitalized me and put me out.

In the Provo and Salt Lake City area, Wisdom Teeth Only facilities are very popular with young men around age 18 and young women around age 20. Almost with question, they march themselves in to have their wisdom teeth extracted. If there isn't a problem of your teeth impacted or pain, then maybe you don't need to have your wisdom teeth removed. Most of problems related to wisdom teeth occurs before age 25.

Most people have wisdom teeth problems between 16 and 24 years. Some people never develop these teeth at all, while quite a few develop these teeth beyond their 30s also.

So why did my dentist warn me that all the rumors of my impacted wisdom teeth were true. In seeing the x-rays he showed me where the wisdom teeth were below the level of my bone. These impacted teeth can't just be pulled out. They needed to be cut out by oral surgery. A more accurate and descriptive explanation would be that he used some type of hammer device and broke each wisdom tooth into smaller parts that could then be pulled out. When I had my wisdom teeth removal procedure done, it was my nightmare of all times. 30 years later, the process still needs to be done, but through Wisdom Teeth Only facilities, the process is handled in a dentist's chair and your back on your feet in no time.
