A Trip To New Orleans

My friends and I are seniors in college and we decided that we want to go to Mardi gras this year in New Orleans when it comes up in a few weeks. A lot of us went our freshman year of college but we are now older and can do a lot of the things we couldn't before so we are all excited to go and have a good time.

There were a few different ways that we considered to get there. There are about 25 of us going so flying commercially doesn't really seem like a great idea and would be such a hassle trying to get tickets and everyone there in a big group sounds miserable. We also thought about taking a coach bus but a 15 hour drive there to be there for only a day or 2 and then 15 hours back is crazy. So we decided on chartering a private jet and we are all really excited about it.

Although it was a little bit more expensive (surprisingly not by too much) the private jet was definitely the right choice for us. This way we have a lot less stress and also get to spend more time there. We can get right there and right back to school after and we can spend the time there relaxing instead of on a bus or having to worry about going through the hassle of the airport.

Last time my friends and I went to Mardi gras we had such a great time. Although many of us aren't really into the gross parts of the mardi gras scene (if you have been there you know what I am talking about), we like to still watch and relax and have a great time. It is a great break from all of the school work and a way to go somewhere for the weekend that isn't full of stress (like job interviews).

It will be the first time some of us have been on a private jet so we are all pretty excited. It is going to be fun overall, being college seniors and having a trip like this is a great way to end the semester and our college careers. It won't be long before we 'grow up' and have a ton of responsibilities, so this is kind of like a last kick for a lot of us and it is definitely the way to do it.
