A Simple Technique To Create Your Own Mouse Trap

The measures one takes in cleaning homes may vary from average practices to the extreme. In extreme cases, these are the families that hire people to clean every corner in their houses everyday. But despite the easy or major cleaning practices you may have, there is one household problem that you may not be able to get rid of with just an immaculately clean home. And this would be rodent problems at home, specifically mice.

Thankfully, we have mouse traps to do the dirty deed for us. When we watch cartoons, we often see a segment of a mouse trap with cheese on it and it attracts mice with the cheese, and just as easy as that, the mouse is caught. If only it was that easy to catch mice as in real life. But in today"s environment-friendly world where animal rights is now very strong, there are also ways for you to get rid of the mice in your home without having to murder them.

If you don"t want to spend on mouse traps, you can try a Do It Yourself mousetrap. There are methods that work surprisingly well and are also humane. Here"s one simple way to make your own mouse trap.:

1. Take a toilet paper tube and crease two lines on each side then fold it to form a tunnel.
2. Place a treat at the end of the tube. The most ideal kind of treats are sweet kinds.
3. Place your toilet paper tube with the treat at its end on the tip of a counter or table. Make sure that the end of the toilet paper tube with the treat is hanging from the counter or table.
4. Place a tall bucket or trash bin below the hanging toilet paper tube.
5. What will happen is that the mouse will work its way on to the treat. The bonus with this is that mice specifically like tunnels.

Once they reach the end where the treat is the toilet paper tube will tip over thus landing the mouse in the bucket or trash bin.

One you"ve caught the rodent, what you can do to avoid harsh practices of getting rid of them is to set the mouse free miles away from you home. It would even be better if you place them somewhere where nature is vast or even a dump site because these places may be a haven for them.

Exterminating mice need not to be violent in nature for their habit of scurrying in our homes is simply of their animal instinct of searching for food. Catching them with a DIY mousetrap and releasing them in a place more ideal is beneficiary for both you and the mouse.
