A Radiator Manufacturer's Processes

By:

Radiator manufacturers may participate in trade, wholesale, retail, and distribution in the heating industry. Commonly they are also present in plumbing industries where services are highly related between the two industries.

The initial process in the production of radiators starts from the guidelines provided by ecological and biological protection of natural resources. This is then followed by human extraction of raw materials.

Raw materials are inputs that are primarily extracted or harvested from the earth. They are segregated to become a form that can be easily transported, stored, and processed to produce semi-finished materials or intermediary goods. Radiator manufacturers may have separate branches of the business that perform such extraction. However, they may also build business links with other companies that specialize in raw material extraction. Raw materials in the production of radiators include brass, screw locks, rubbers, steel wire ropes, wires, non-ferrous metals, glass fiber-reinforced plastic products, clothing apparel, textiles, and handicrafts. These raw materials are supplied to a radiator manufacturer for component construction, assembly and merging.

The manufacturing process starts in the radiator workshops. Brass or any steel selection is one of the major products that play a role in the manufacturing process. The tubings are accurately cut in various lengths. These tubings become the legs and rails of trade radiators. Computer controlled equipment produce high quality bends with minimal effect on the surface of the tubes. These machines manipulate the tubes to produce the desired angle for every design. Upon completion of bending, they are manually inspected. Fittings are then placed onto the legs of radiators and are individually and braced into place through welding and advanced metal assembly. Fittings are also used for the purpose of attaching horizontal bars into position according to design. These are continually performed to allow the radiators and towel rails to take shape.

A high-pressured rope is attached to the sealed radiator. It is then submerged into the water and charged several times to a desired pressure. This ensures that the final product will be completely watertight.

The polishing shops are specifically aimed at removing heat discolorations and handling imperfections as a result of activities in the fabrication process. The angle and pressure of polishing is important to ensure that no distortion on the tubing appears. The polishing sizzles contain compounds that result to a mirror finish on the radiator rails.

Inspection is performed under powerful lights where imperfections are identified for further work. When the railing surface already appears of best quality, they are ready for color or metal plating. These metal plating selections vary from nickel to chrome, and other wide variety of choices.

Control checks ensure a radiator manufacturer that the product is ready for distribution to radiator customers. The final product is carefully covered by rubber or any protective material and the rail ends are protected by plastic caps. A plastic airtight wrapping is the final product covering.

A computerized stock management system allows a Radiator manufacturer to manage and dispatch the products to customers, usually traders and wholesale clients.
