A Priest Leveling Guide

By:

Priests are the archetypal healers of any group, although those who have delved into the Shadow build makes for very excellent damage dealers well. Large groups remain to be their prime arena however for there, they truly shine. They do very well in soloing too since their talents can help with fast leveling. If you're a priest and want to know how to get done with the beginning levels of the game really fast, this is the Priest leveling guide for you.

{Priests Defined}?
The priest, although mainly considered as a healing class, can fill a selection of roles in a group. Priests are also capable of dealing massive damage via the Shadow talent tree, tanking and of course, healing. If you're a Priest seeking to go deep into the Holy Priest tree, you will become very capable of casting pretty solid multiple target healing spells. Alternatively, you may also choose to be a Discipline Priest which is arguably the best single target healer there is.

{Early Leveling}
All Priests start with a ranged attack called the Smithe and Lesser Heal (a healing spell) in their starting town. As you progress through the first three levels, you can earn enough gold to buy your first buff that could you could use to display some friendly gestures with your fellow start ups. You're on your way to becoming a popular character.

At the 4th and 5th levels, you will gain some experience and know how to use your first DoT spell, called the Shadow Word: Pain. You will then have enough time using your new DoT spell along with your old ones. Then at levels six and seven, you will gain access to a new spell the Power Word: Shield.

At levels eight to nine, you will have another DoT spell, Renew, and aggro-management spell, called Fade. Fade will help a ton once you start raiding. This is especially useful against a Priest from an enemy group. At level ten, you will have your second ranged attack spell called the Mind Blast and your first resurrection spell, called Resurrection.

{From Level Ten Onwards}
You will gain your first talent point at level ten.
This, you could use instantly to enhance a specific talent from your talent tree or choose to delay use until you have decided on what build to roll your Priest.

As a priest, you get to choose between three talent trees Shadow, Discipline, and Holy. Each of these talent trees dishes out abilities that can be useful for creating a perfect build of your choice.

If you want to be a classic healer, a very sought-after character in any group you can choose the path of the Holy Priest. This tree houses nearly all the best and most powerful buffs, debuffs, and healing spells in the game. If you're seeking to create a Priest that's great in DPS, you can go deep into the Shadow talent tree. For the best single target healing, your best choice in all WoW is the Discipline tree.

{Final Words and Recommendations}
The choice of tree is really up to you. Although as a suggestion from this Priest leveling guide, you can choose the path of the Shadow Priest for very fast leveling.
