Here, Im back to share my experience with all of you after a gap of three months. The gap was because didnt have much to write and share with you before my visit to Mysore. The visit of Mysore was unplanned. It was last minute decision to take time out of busy schedule and to visit Mysore. The purpose of the visit was to attend a family wedding. The reason it was last minute decision was because I didnt wanted to be bothered by my relatives asking me about my marriage. In our Indian culture, you always have to face questions from your relatives about your marriage when you cross 25. No matter how hard you try to escape these questions, it will come from one way or the other.
The thing which persuaded me to go was my cousin. He is of the same age. He was visiting India after three years, so asked me to come so that we can have a good time together. The wedding was planned on a grand scale. As we are from a business class family, the reason of grand marriage is to show our status to society. My cousin, Ranveer and I reached on the same day. We had our rooms booked in
Hotel United 21. The trip was for a week so we had bought more than three bags with us. The rooms were quite spacious with facilities like Wi-Fi Connections. As we too were both facebook addict, we needed the Wi-Fi connection to constantly use it. The day we arrived we took our time enjoying Mysore city rather than to be with the family. The first place we visited was the Mysore palace. Everyone would feel the same if they in Mysore to see the palace first. It was such a beautiful monument. If you ever get a chance never miss the opportunity. You can surely see how Kings lived their life in early ages.
After the fun we had at the palace we decided to go to our relative house. It was around 1 hour drive from the palace. It was a great feeling to see all your relative together but they started what we feared the most. Everyone started asking me about my marriage and me was trying to avoid it. We were forced to stay in the house itself but we dont want to be in between elders. On our way back to United 21 we decided to visit some more places. Those places you will never find in do visit sections anywhere. It was just fun walking down the lane with two to three pegs down your neck. The only feeling in your mind is how happy you are. Till the time we reach the hotel United 21 there were many staff than expected taking care of everything. They made sure that all the decorations were proper. IT was then we came to know as there were some senior members of the hotels parent group were coming. The hotel is managed by
Panoramic Universal Ltd. We were so lost that we didnt bother to ask anything more but went straight to our room. The next day when we went to check out we saw that the senior members of the Panoramic Universal Ltd. have already left. The purpose of their visit was to distribute sweets to the staff as it was the beginning of the festive season. This showed us how you can make your trust grown inside your employees by some simple gesture.
