Our work is considered our second home. Roughly seventy five percent of our time is allocated in our job, excluding the additional hours we exert after regular office hours. That is the warrant why it is of utmost necessity for our personal, emotional, and professional development to make pals in the office. Don't be glued with just a few chums, though. Reach out and hang out with as many co-workers as possible. Having too many friends is desirable than having a just a handful... or none at all!

Moreover, never spurn an invitation because this is a positive indicator that they want to know you better. Not welcoming it may look like you wanting the reverse to happen.

Jazz up your workplace with conversation pieces. If allowed by your head, bring along photos, keepsakes, trinkets, or whatever that may invoke dialogue when noticed by others. This is a great break for your co-workers to grasp a trifle bit more regarding your personal life.

Be open. Admit that not everyone will agree with you or take an interest in you. You will sure touch shoulders with one or two that will anger you as well. Keep in mind your manners and never show intrusiveness. Rather, understand that each co-worker is an individual, with varying likes and dislikes the same as you.

Never rush it! Friendship thrives over time. Insisting yourself to co-workers will eventually turn them off. Again, things will happen naturally. There is no need to be too needy or clingy.
