A List Of Features And Specs Of The Samsung Transform

By:

Korean tech and electronics company, Samsung, has released their newest smart phone: the Samsung Transform, which is specifically designed to target the low to medium end smart phone market, all by offering the Transform with amazing, high-end features, while staying at a low price. Even though it's been out for about only a week, many online technology blogs and websites have given the Transform a lot of attention, and people wonder if this is going to be the next "it" phone. Additionally, since it is part of the growing line of smart phones offered by Samsung, there are already a host of accessories that potential purchasers might be interested in. This article will review some of the notable features of the Transform and describe some of the accessories hitting the market to help you decide if this should be your next smart phone.

The first thing that got people interested in the Transform will likely notice upon seeing it is that it looks like the Epic 4G on the outside. The smart phone offers a combination of a touch screen and a slide out built in QWERTY keyboard, which will be appreciated by novice users of miniature technology who may not yet be fully comfortable with the idea of typing without tactile feedback, as on the digital keyboards so common these days on most modern smart phones.

Another factor that will not go unnoticed by potential customers of the Transform is its relatively affordable price. While $150 after a mail in rebate may not sound like affordable pricing for most items in life, unfortunately, it has become the norm in smart phones, and in truth, is actually closer to the lower end. However, the price may be justifiable if you are a fan of the features the Transform comes with and can live without the features it does not.

Samsung's newest phone bears close visual resemblance to other mid range smart phones offered by Samsung, including the Intercept and the Moment to name a few; however, it costs slightly more, and this is likely due to some of the upgrades and modifications it has in comparison to the aforementioned smart phones. For example, with the Transform, you not only get a rear facing camera, which is all but standard on smart phones everywhere, but you also get one of the less common front facing cameras, which are a boon for video conferencing with family, friends, and significant others. Additionally, you also get an LED flash to allow you to take pictures even when you don't have the backing of good lighting.

With all these features, it's no wonder why so many people have starting to gain some interest in the Transform. However, another reason to consider the smart phone is the range of accessories that have already become available for it. For example, smart phones are notorious for running out of battery power; with the Transform, you can buy an extra battery to keep you on the go. Similarly, you can protect your investment with a cheap case.
