A Hotel With The Biggest Rooms I Have Ever Seen - Granada, Nicaragua

By:

The colonial town of Granada in Nicaragua is such a beautiful place filled with surprises cobblestone streets, great boulevards and tons of restaurants & cafes for every taste. For those reasons my family and I decided to visit it. During this trip we were going to stay in a luxurious hotel called La Bocona.

Before anything else, I tried searching online and from the photos and descriptions I saw in their website, I knew from there that the place was beautiful. But as we walked in to the hotel we were completely wowed because of how amazing this particular place looked. I was speechless as I walked into the room! Experience has taught me that almost always when there is a "deluxe room" there is nothing deluxe-y about it. But this one was deluxe and so much more.

Why was the room so good? First there is its immense grandeur of the room! It's not just about how spacious it was but also about how high the walls & ceiling are. It looks like the place was built for giants. Our room had two king size, canopy beds that got swallowed up by the room. They looked like two little twin sized beds. We even settled up the portable crib we had for our baby and is still had lots of space.

It is very important for me to find hotels with a pool because swimming is my boy's favorite activity. In this case the pool was close to my room & there is a really comfortable sitting area on the hallways. This worked perfectly for me because my 7 year old played in the pool & my 1 year old napped peacefully as I lounged close to the room's door & close enough to my little swimmer.

Another big thing for me is service and this hotel has a very friendly, helpful & smiling staff. This is one of the major reasons why guests would want to go back to the same place time after time. With the right customer experience, the guests will never hesitate to use such hotel services all over again.

I also found a great thing that felt a bit weird at first: The location of the bathrooms. They are not part of the room, to get to them you have to leave the room and enter from the corridor. No, they are not shared! This for me was an unexpected and unique trait. They are all fully stocked with all the conveniences of a great bathroom.
