A High Priced New Product Launch Is Difficult To Sell.

By:

Can you really gauge how much your new product launch will bring you, even before you're ready to launch. I used to think this was complicated, but now I know its just a numbers game. But that begs the next question... What numbers are best to follow.

First we need to understand who your customer really is, what they want and how best to maximize revenue per customer. Simple right. No so, mainly because as a publisher you can build products for either end users or affiliates. Yep, affiliates.

If your goal is to sell strictly to end-users by yourself methods, it will be difficult trying to make a lot of money. Mainly because, you're going to end up doing all the prospecting yourself and that means you're going to need to charge a pretty penny for whatever it is you're selling or wind up broke because of expense related prospecting activities.

Affiliates are the best people to build relationships with as a publisher. Reason being, help them make money once and they'll become a friend (and profit center) forever. Build a buying relationship with an end user and they may or may not buy a subsequent product ever again, good relationship or not.

Here's the numbers. 25 end users that you sell a $50 item to will net you about $1250 if you've pay no commission (double if you've sold 50). And if you sell a $5,000 product or service to an end user you'll make quite a bit more money, but you'll have a higher value expectation on the side of the end user to live up to. Conversely, all you really need to do with an affiliate is make them money on lets say $50 products. This keeps expectations low with end users. This is easier on you and keeps refunds to a minimum.

$50 products sold successfully through affiliates will supercharge your financial future.
