There is a medical condition that is plaguing more than 20 million Americans each year. The most effective methods for those with moderate to severe depression include a combination of medication and therapy. Your doctor can help you decide which treatments will work best for you. In addition to seeking treatment, there are also many self help methods recommended for people who are going through depression. They include social interaction, religion, exercise, support groups, and participating in enjoyable activities.



How can I help someone who is Depressed?

Depression can be devastating, but with time and treatment it can be cured. The most important things that you can do for a friend and family member is help them find treatment. It is also important to be supportive and encouraging. With time and treatment, depression can be beaten.
