The Montpellier Parc des Expositions is located just on the outskirts of the city and is one of the most modern exhibition sites in France to date. With its humble beginnings, the venue started out small and grew to enable it to hold larger events such as the International Trade Fair. The Montpellier Parc des Expositions is now a class international standard venue.

Montpellier is a whopping 20-hectare site which is ideally situated between the city and the coast and is in the middle of some major transport routes such as the A9 exit (highway), international airport and railway; making it virtually effortless to get to.

The Montpellier exhibition site also provides a platform and a location between Milan and Barcelona, with its capacity for large-scale commercial exhibitions and showcases. Each of its 13 Halls can be modified and adapt to any project, making it the perfect host to all sorts of events (sporting events, public shows, trade fairs, exhibitions). Each hall ranges from a small size of 1,800m to its largest of 6,600m. The open-air exhibition boasts a space of over 70,000m and it has over 100,000m of parking space just for its visitors. Not only is Montpellier just an exhibition centre, it even offers up to 9 plenary rooms and 15 offices for your conference and business needs, with the largest plenary room being able to hold anywhere from 1,000 - 4,500 seats.

The Montpellier Parc des Expositions is an impressive venue for exhibitors and exhibition attendees, with the facilities to match. The venue caters for exhibitions of all types and sizes with the ability to accommodate shows of various layouts and with the provision lighting, control room, slide projectors and AV equipment all available. The venue also boasts three permanent restaurants and during exhibitions, up to 15 restaurants and brassieres' can be set up, with each hall setting out to be able to accommodate a meal.

Up and coming shows include the International Exhibition of wines, Energaia 2009, Milipol Paris 2009 and the spirits show. The city of Montpellier itself is a wonderful city in which to find yourself for a few days with many cute streets for shopping, some very decent restaurants and some interesting architecture and sites. Based in the Languedoc region in the South of France, there are far worse places to be sent for an exhibition.
