A Guide To Managing Panic Attacks Letting Go Of Anxiety

By:

Some people have extreme fear of being at the center of attention or even around other people. Today, millions of people struggle with social anxiety, however the number of cases actually treated is few and far between. While many sufferers are managing panic attacks on their own, others are in serious need of help. The severity of social anxiety can differ from individuals and while some may get by, others find it extremely difficult to be out in public.

A person who suffers from social anxiety may have developed the disorder from past experiences that caused fear or embarrassment of being in front of others. The damage of past experiences of being embarrassed or ridiculed by others can be deeply ingrained into the subconscious mind.

Everyday life is often hard to deal with and a sufferer may have constant worry and negative thoughts. An individual can become locked in a negative pattern of worry and anxiety and find it difficult to come out of this state. Negative thoughts and experiences that have been stored into our subconscious, over months and years cannot simply be forgotten. Our character emerges from what we constantly do and think, and inevitably what we focus on the majority of the time is what we become.

Overcoming social phobia is not just about learning how to prevent panic attacks, but to be able to overcome the fear of social situations, by changing negative beliefs and habits. If you can learn stop certain behaviors and habits that have a negative impact on your thoughts and emotions, you can become free. A lot of people may not even believe that they have the ability to change, but people can. Anyone who really wants to be more confident, happier and more assertive can learn to do so.

Our past does not have to rule our future. Some of the most successful people of the world have become what they are simply because they chose not to be defeated. Starting again takes guts, but it's motivation which keeps us going. Self help techniques such as EFT, NLP and meditation can help restore balance in one's life and even provide anxiety and panic attack relief. Work everyday to maintain positive thoughts about yourself and others, and reframe things in a positive light, and you will see confidence emerging in social situations.

Make a plan of what you want to achieve in life and take action. Map out smaller goals towards the bigger picture, which you can achieve and find a self that you are happier with. By setting achievable small goals we not only gain the satisfaction of attaining the goal, but we gain confidence and motivation to go for more.

We all have something that we could be happier. Take up the challenge to improve the way you look and feel. Having frequent thoughts of self-inadequacy and belief that other people think the same of you, is a destructive habit. Self consciousness is really other people's consciousness.

A person can forget to live in the now and enjoy the present, when they become overly conscious of themselves and others. Our acts and behaviors can become too conscious and when we constantly over-think what we say or do, we begin to lose a sense of who we really are. Anyone is capable of becoming comfortable and happy with their self image. Right now, it may seem impossible to be a person that can handle being confident in front of others, but change only takes time.
