Ther has been and continues to be much controversey over whether or not video games promote violence in our children.

There are many problems with video games people experience today with their kids. This can seem very frustrating for many parents.Many Video games promote violence, negative attitudes, and in many cases they are addicting. They also take away considerable time with the family which is of critical importance.

One of the biggest problems is the violence these games promote.

It is very difficult to find a video game not promoting violence and that does nott shout out profanities thus encouraging bad behavior.

Tabletop games are an excellent alternative, and most tabletop games are designed for the entire family to play and offer both a challenge for the competative mind while offering great fun and challenges for everyone.

There is no violence in these games and you learn the basics of various sports such as Ping Pong, Football, Hockey and other educational activities while playing.

There are many video games that are challenging but kids get frustrated with the difficulty of the playing levels. They will often play a video game for hours and hours, ignoring the entire family, until they can beat multiple playing levels trying to find self satisfaction.

This can and often times does create bad attitudes in the players due to the frustration, lack of skill and understanding of the various games.

If you would like to get your children to get into playing something other than video games, you can introducing them to a multiple variety of tabletop games as an excellent place to start. If you enjoy playing various family games, check out some of the many table top games available in your local shopping mall, toy store or various sellers of these games on the internet.

Tabletop Games will allow you to get the kids off of the video games and spend more wholesome time together as a family which is in short supply and wholesome for the entire family.

Tabletop games also do not promote violence or a bad attitudes and are not addicting like video games are. They are an an excellent way to eliminate the problems associated with varios video games today.

Tabletop Games are also an great idea as a personal gift if you have friends or coworkers that have teenagers addicted to video games. They also make an exceellent coporate, birthday or holiday gift.
