At the other end of the beach break is the Far Bar that has the most surfers since the water is deeper here compared to the other surfing spots and the break is quite far from the shore. How can one describe the breathtaking moment when the whales come out of the waters and the mere sight of these gray marine mammals leaves you breathless with wonder?The gray whales leave the winter waters of Northern Bering and go to the Sea of Cortez every year during fall to give birth and feast on the bountiful food in the tropical waters of the Pacific. It is best to watch these whales swimming with their babies in Magdalena Bay which is located just a little off the coast of Los Cabos. Although San Ignacio is more famous for whale watching, there is a higher chance of seeing whales in Los Cabos than any other place in Baja during the whale season from end of December to end of March.
