Every trite romantic comedies has them. Boy wants to impress girl? Oh, there goes a bouquet of glisteningly gorgeous red roses sent the next day straight to her workplace. Boy did something monumentally stupid and he's looking for a quick fix to mend their broken hearts? Ah there he runs and strips the florist right before she can say, no.
And just like in movies, real life has seen its fair share of romances blooming and dying with each red rose sent. Throughout time,
