When you're trying to get a firm butt and produce quick, easy results not all exercises are created equally. In fact, there are certain exercises that are almost guaranteed to produce fantastic results while many won't get much done at all. When you want to get a firm butt try using the following exercises and you'll enjoy some great success. However it is important to note here that before you try any of these exercises (or indeed any form of new exercise program at all) make sure you have checked with your doctor that you are physically fit enough and they won't cause potential health issues. Bodyweight Squats: The bodyweight squat is a variation of the classic squat, and the great benefit of this exercise is that you will not need to use any weights. This will help you avoid bulking up, while still tightening and strengthening your muscles. Stand straight up with your feet at shoulder with and your arms held out straight in front of your body. Slowly lower yourself until your butt is just a foot off the floor and then raise yourself and repeat the process.

Jumping Prisoner Squats: With this squat variation you interlock your hands behind your head in that classic 'prisoner' pose. Slowly lower your body as if you're doing a normal squat, and then explosively jump up as high as you can. This is great not just for your butt but also for your thighs, particularly your quads.

Dumbbell Lunges: Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms straight on the side of your body. Take a big step forward with one foot and continue forward until your front leg is parallel to the ground. Then explosively push yourself back and repeat with the opposing foot. This is also particularly great for your hamstrings in addition to a firm butt and can also have a secondary effect on your thigh and calf muscles.

These are just a few of the quick exercises that you can perform for a firm butt. All are sure to produce excellent results. You'll tighten up your butt and also strengthen and tighten your thighs and legs as well.
