A Common Theme

American's have always loved to voice their opinions concerning the shortcomings of their government and the people running it, and this has become even more the case after the recent political and financial upheavals in this country. On 9/11/2011 Mohammad Goldstein is going to turn the political atmosphere in Washington upside down.

Author Mohammad Goldstein takes this ball and runs with it in his newest Hardcopy/eBook, "The Plot to Overthrow". Goldstein begins by stirring up a lot of latent discontent that still exists in the minds of many Americans who remember Vietnam, Watergate, and some of the other deeply disturbing failures of American politics. Inflammatory and provocative, the words and images in his new book tend to stir up the 1960's activist that hides beneath the calm exterior in many of us. By appealing to highly emotional readers who have lost sons, brothers, and friends as a result of the governments heavy handed, imperialistic policies, Goldstein is determined to build a groundswell of quasi-revolutionary sentiment with his scathing, highly critical assessment of the state of American politics and social policy in the 21st century. I can envision a large number of right wing, left wing, and even buffalo wing types eating up the succulent paranoia and hysterical meandering that this work contains. Many of the statements and views weaved into Goldstein's latest story have some root in rational thought, other aspects of the book will make you question truth or not. This book makes WikiLeaks look like a school yard tattle tale. Wait until you see what is uncovered in behind the scenes in Washington politics.

More than anything, this book reminds me of the radical offerings of the hippies in the 1960's, except that Goldstein's new book shrouds the old school anti-establishment dogma in a coat of shiny new examples of America seeming demise. From Abe Lincoln to Obama, this author uses many examples and illustrations to drive home his point that we have become a corrupt nation and that the only hope for us is the great "Overthrow" which he claims is imminent.

At the end of the day, you will have to decide for yourself which of Goldstein's views and ideas ring true with you, and which of his ideas will fade back into the obscurity from which they have recently emerged. I think most people will find a lot to agree with in this new Hardcopy/eBook, and a few may not. One thing for sure the ending is so shocking you will think like you have not in a long, long, time. Is this really going to happen?
