A Call For Nature

Environmental concerns had now arisen due to global warming. As humans, it is our responsibility to take good care of our only habitat that is fast changing due to climate change. Due to calls for social responsibility, environmental jobs have started to emerge, preventing further damages to our natural resources and find ways to minimize extraction/usage of natural resources.

There is no concrete definition of an environmental job, as it is eclectic and covers everything considered as a natural resource. This group of working professionals closely monitor the ecosystem and how they affect each other. They study the modern world, our usage in terms of technology, the effects in the environment around us and the impact on our environment. They tap into different kinds of studies in the field of science: Zoology, Biology, Geology, Botany, environmental laws to name a few. It is as diverse as the culture and covers all the elements in the earth. This career goes beyond what a person has finished because it takes a lot of patience, perseverance and love for nature.

Aside sports which requires physical motions from the human being, it has been predicted that environmental jobs will be the next career which will be in demand in a couple of years. Government agencies and private sectors will require their specialties to study the resources around them. Before our only concern was to prevent the extinction of the flora and fauna species, saving what was left behind and propagating them in abundance once again.

Environmental jobs have set into motion by making us aware of our environment. It had taught us to co-exist with each other. By educating the public we had given awareness to our society. Endangered species are now protected and the locals preserve it because tourist had come to flock to the site to see it, generating an income. Business sectors have also extended their help through using biodegradable materials and recycling. Non-government organizations have launch Tree and Mangrove planting activities. Emission Tests are conducted to vehicles, preventing too much carbon dioxide released into the air. Laws were created to protect the wildlife and their habitat. Ways were also found to eliminate hazardous waste and replace elements which were already identified as dangerous to the ecosystem. They study plants and animals chemical component which could help in solving incurable diseases. Natural resources were used as energy generators to power household. These are just some of the major accomplishment done by people who have chosen to embark in an environmental job.
