New Zealand is a small country, about the same size as Great Britain. It is said to have a population of only four million people. If you are looking for an idyllic and breathtaking country to relocate to then New Zealand ticks all of the boxes.

Egmont National Park is dominated by a 2518m high volcano; this can make for a challenging expedition. Westland Tai Poutini National Park is rather vast as it covers some of the highest peaks of the Alps down to the rural and remote beaches of the Wild West coast. If you are into wildlife the National park for you is Rakiura, here you can expect to find coastal forest and stunning beaches habituated by seals, penguins, kiwi, weka and many more birds.

If you are a keen walker then New Zealand is the place for you as there are thousands of kilometres of walks offering the most spectacular sights and scenery.

The majority of immigrants who move to New Zealand, end up living in Auckland. Here, you are situated between two harbours, named Waitemata and Manukau; the sparkling waters are surrounded by a backdrop of rainforests and dormant volcanic cones. The area is scattered with enchanting holiday islands. Auckland is New Zealands biggest city, however other regions to live in that are also extremely popular are; Canterbury, Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Otago. Canterbury is home to more than half of the South Islands population. Christchurch, the main city, is often said to be the precision engineering and electronics capital of New Zealand. Bay of Plenty, and especially its main town of Tauranga, has become popular retirement areas and here you will find a warm sunny climate. Waikato has a number of pleasant, small towns close to the city of Hamilton and Otago offers very affordable housing close to, or in the University City of Dunedin.
