Westland Tai Poutini National Park is rather vast as it covers some of the highest peaks of the Alps down to the rural and remote beaches of the Wild West coast. If you are into wildlife the National park for you is Rakiura, here you can expect to find coastal forest and stunning beaches habituated by seals, penguins, kiwi, weka and many more birds.
