A Blackberry! My Kingdom For A Blackberry!

A Blackberry! My Kingdom For A Blackberry!

Since the dawn of civilization mankind has struggled to develop safe and secure ways to stay in contact with one another over increasingly great distances. For example, during the European Middle Ages, military orders such as the Knights Templar, the Hospitaler and the Teutonic orders used a series of complex codes to safely pass reports and messages through enemy occupied-territory. At the same time, the containers used to carry these vital messages have also become increasingly more difficult to open, without the proper knowledge or keys. While the introduction of this article may seem awkward to those who are unfamiliar with these introductory subjects, they do have some bearing on the contents of this article. While our ancient ancestors used challenging codes and robust containers to ensure that their messages reached the desired destination, they would be positively stupefied and awe-struck, even hopelessly bewildered, if they ever saw the methods used by us, their modern successors, to ensure safe secure and rapid communications between parties. While ancient and medieval messengers required a great deal of equipment and weaponry to see that message was delivered to the senders desired location without fail, we can send messages across the globe without moving a single muscle or taking a step outside our front door. This hyperbole has become reality, thanks to the development of 4G technology and its associated devices.

For example, BlackBerry smart phones and personal computer tablets can all be control by particular BlackBerry software, which are designed to allow the user to frequent the world's many interesting social networking sites. Through these sites, which can be made available by using your BlackBerry devices onboard wi-fi connections, people can send and exchange messages with one another, and also receive the latest gossip as well as tonight's plans through either their smart phone or BlackBerry PlayBook. Furthermore, thanks to the development of a particular type of software known as BlackBerry PlayBook Contacts, PlayBook users can transfer address books and other contact information from their phone to the Smart tablet, and vice versa. Although these devices wonderful additions to anyone's personal communications gear, there is always more to be done. Therefore, RIM is also given their subscribers access to software updates, which will continue to enhance each devices performance.

Based on the information here, I am left wondering what would happen if the knights and political leaders of ages past would have done, if someone had presented them with a working model of a BlackBerry smart phone or PlayBook, a device that would allow them to contact every person in the world. When I think of it, I am certain that any emperor, king, or ruler would have traded his kingdom to buy BlackBerry.
