A Bit Of Inspiration From The Bible

By:

In Mark chapter 5 Jesus was going to go to a city to pray for a young girl who was terminally ill, right before his venture was about to begin he got news that the little girl had passed away. Jesus decided to go anyway...however instead of bringing along all of his followers Jesus decided to ask just Peter, James and John. When Jesus arrived he told the townsfolk not to worry because the little girl would be alive once more. They thought the claim was impossible and therefore they began to ridicule Jesus, he took the father of the child and her mother and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying. He took the girl by the hand, murmured a quick phrase, and at that moment the breath of life resided in the young girl once more.

So why did Jesus choose to only bring those three and leave behind his other followers? Jesus knew that such an improbable miracle wouldn't be possible without the full support of the ones present. Jesus might have believed that one of his other followers may have questioned him and his intentions, that perhaps they too would have began to ridicule Jesus for thinking he could bring back the dead. When you are attempting such a daunting task, you cannot afford to have people close to you who don't entirely believe in you and your talents. This ideology could be applied in nearly all walks of life. If you want to perform a miracle in your life, it is necessary to surround yourself with those who have faith in you, just as Jesus did.

At our foundation we all our optimistic and resolute individuals; As young children we all had endless hope...Why do people's dreams diminish as they age? hatred will always be thrown at you, that is a fact of life. No matter your situation, there will always be someone or something attempting to engulf you in desolation. So as we grow and share our hopes and dreams with others, we will often get discouraged by the lack of faith and support we receive. We continually hear about our faults, what we have to change about ourselves, what we got wrong, why our dreams won't come true... When considering the constant words of discouragement that we all our prone to hearing, it is easy to see why people let their dreams slip away. This fundamental problem with our society leaves us with only one option...

As is recited in Corinthians 6:19, your body is a temple and letting bad things into it is dishonoring God. This ideology must be applied to your mind and your thoughts in order to block out the daily negativity that you encounter. All negative reactions within your mind must be cleared; if you can do this you will honor yourself and God alike.
