9 Reasons Not To Exercise

Exercise is one of those actions that we know we should do, yet most of us somehow just never get around to exercising. We can't find the time, or I just don't feel like exercising right now. Excuses, excuses what can I say? I'm as guilty as the next person yet I continue with the excuses, knowing that tomorrow is the day that I will start to exercise. For sure!

Now in order to be helpful I thought I would compile a list of good reasons not to exercise in case you can't think of a good reason and just don't want to exercise. Now any good therapist would tell you that just not wanting to is a good enough reason but why listen to the therapist, they probably don't want to exercise either.

Here Are 9 Reasons Not To Exercise

1. Weather is lousy - It's a known fact that it is extremely hard to preform your best when the weather is bad. That's the reason they call off games and runs etc. when the weather is bad. So it just makes sense not to exercise when the weather is bad, after all I want to do my best.

2. It's too early - The morning is not the best time of day for me as a matter of fact I don't come out of the fog till 11 AM or so.. Everyone knows that when you exercise you should go all out and push your body for the best, the problem is that it's the morning and we all know that I just can't seem to do my best in the morning so why waste my time exercising if I'm not going to do my best.

3. It's too late - I've had a hard day at work, had to come home and fix supper and now you want me to go exercise! Do you really think I'm Super Man or something. No thanks, I deserve to rest. It's too late to exercise.

4. The Time Is Just not right - Everyone knows that timing is everything and I don't feel like the timing is right to exercise now so I'll wait for the right time.

5. It doesn't feel good - My therapist has drilled it into me that if it feels good I should do it. Well exercise doesn't feel that great so who am I to go against my therapists advice.

6. I don't want to be a sex symbol - My privacy is important to me and you know what happens when you get lookin good, all those paparozzi type people will be looking for me to get a picture. No, my privacy is too important. I won't exercise.

7. I don't have time to get that perky butt - I know that I could wear the Flex Mini Skirt while I'm working and get that perky butt I've always wanted, but what if someone found out I was wearing exercise equipment?

8. Just the way I am is the way my family wants me to be - I talk about exercising but my family says they like me just the way I am. I sure don't want to exercise lose a lot a weight and then my family wouldn't have anything to do with me. My family is very important to me so I'm not going to do something that will upset them.

9. My family makes fun of me when I exercise - I bought the Bender Ball to use for my core exercises at home. I started to feel and look great but then I needed new clothes. It's always something. Life's hard!

These are nine excuses that I feel are my best. I didn't put them in any order so one is no more important than another. Use them any way you feel like using them. Or maybe you are going to be like me after I wrote them down, looked them over and decided ,the heck with excuses. It's time to get the Bender Ball out again.
