I used to have a horrible leveling game. Not only did it take me months on end to level just a dozen or so levels, but nobody wanted to quest with me, and I would constantly die and hit roadblocks, never doing the right quests, having to run around a lot and just overall being unhappy with the game, causing me to rage quit a lot.
The frustrations in my leveling game were leaking into my social and family lives, as I became more irritable around others. And yeah, you can say that it's "just a game", but who wants to have a reputation for sucking at something? No one!
Please don't fall into the same trap I did...
Not to generalize, but I'm sure everyone during their leveling career has taken an opportunity to have a higher level and more experienced player to have them show you the ropes. I had a few, and that was too many. :/
But before you send a tell to your closest friend to have them help you level faster, please consider this.
If you've probably had someone help you once or twice, and you are reading this page, then why contact them to have them help you again if they didn't help in the first place?
Apart from mentoring from your friends, I can guess that you might have purchased some "outside help". I mean power leveling services or game booster services that will supposedly level you quickly for you... for a price. "They didn't help" and that's my final answer!
I purchased some leveling services from an anonymous source (I'm not here to be a tattle tale) after they advertised themselves and made themselves seem like the greatest thing since sliced bread for WoW players! After a few days of them taking over my account, they hadn't gotten me more than a few levels, and claimed that in the fine print, they said "Up to level 80", which meant that they could go anywhere from one to 80 and get away with it!
Needless to say, I was furious. So I tried again. They didn't say "Up to 80" but still didn't level me. I asked why and they said, "You didn't specify how many levels you wanted." I explained that I didn't have the option, and they said it wasn't their job to give me one. At this point I had spent well over $100 to have others get to level 80 for me fast, and they hadn't delivered.
All in all, these special power leveling services actually did nothing but empty my wallet and deliver empty promises.
