Fiber has other benefits, too, such as helping you fend off certain diseases so make sure you eat as much of it as possible. Your weight will come off fast and you will also find that your life is lengthened.

Avoid skipping meals. Eating increases your matabolism, thus skipping meals can 'trick' your body into slowing down its metabolism in an attempt to conserve calories during a period it perceives as a situation where limited fuel is available.

Do not forget to eat protein. Eating protein will keep your metabolism high and allow muscle recovery to be much quicker. Choose lean proteins to help you make the most out of this food.
