A depressed person could sometimes have trouble looking themselves in the mirror. To them the mirror appears to reflect ugliness and repulsion. Scratch the surface and you could find that they are perhaps kicking themselves for some trivial thing that they would have passed up.

Results from a 1960s research prove that neurotransmitters also influence depression. When certain of them are in your system parts of your brain particularly an abundance of them means that you are less prone to depression, and vice versa.

Picture this: twins that are identical even up to a genetic level, and that are raised in the same environment are highly likely to have depression in common. The figures obtained from researchers show that the level is even three times more than you might expect in twins that have only about half of their genes in common.

Hepatitis, being a neurological disease, can result eventually in depression for you. Its close sibling, mononucleosis also acts the same way. Beating them and depression together calls for a great deal of professional intervention. Dont handle all cases of depression yourself.
