There are a lot of MLM and direct marketing businesses out there vying for your attention, but one of the most interesting has got to be 5LINX. Of course, thats not what youre wondering when I start talking about 5LINX information; what youre probably wondering is either Can I make money with 5LINX? or Is 5LINX a scam? and the answers to those questions are not the same. The answer to one of them is no, and the answer to the other one is yes. But before we get into that, lets look a little at the 5LINX compensation plan.

When you partner up with 5LINX, you get access to a lot of what we call marketing collateral brochures, folders with the name of the company embossed on them, that sort of thing. Its not going to be hard to get people ordering those products. You can let the products sell themselves.

5LINX, like most companies that offer a distributor program, wants you to sell their product. It doesnt really matter to them whether you sell anything else, and it doesnt matter to them how you sell their product so long as you sell it. And thats not hard. You should have other products, other programs, things that add real value to the purchase your customers make. Because they are, in fact, your customers not 5 links customers, but YOUR customers.

And its not just about one thing, either; sure, you can sell 5LINX products and services, but you should also be promoting other products and services that work well with them. Providing that little something extra for your customers, so they value and appreciate your special contribution to their happiness.

They care about the value that you added to the process; answering their questions, helping them choose the right product, giving them the little personal touches that made them feel comfortable and happy about working with you. And 5 Linx cant sell you that although Im sure they would like to, if they could.

When a product is available from a lot of different places, and theres really no way to tell where you got it, that product is what we call a commodity. Commodity products are notoriously hard to sell, because you can buy them anywhere. Youre competing with everyone else selling the same product, and there are a lot of those people.

If you want to have real success in selling a commodity product, you have to build extra value on top of it. Even farmers do this youve seen the commercials for Florida oranges, Idaho potatoes, California cheese. Its still just oranges, potatoes, and cheese, but the branding and the positioning make the difference. Likewise, you cant expect to succeed by saying 5LINX products you have to say MY 5LINX products, and there has to be a real difference people can understand.

The real job that youre doing when you sign up to the 5LINX compensation plan is building your success for you, not their success for them. Theyll work themselves ragged building their own success, but theyre not going to do that for yours. You have to do it yourself.
