Whether it be walking, biking, swimming or joining a gym, pick something you can do at least 4 times a week for 30 minutes at intensity that keeps your heart rate up. This will keep you feeling good and will help you lose belly fat even at rest.

Eat more fiber rich foods as it stays in your tummy for longer and slows down digestion rate which makes you feel less hungry. Avoid deep fried foods which has great amount of fat. Opt for veg foods instead of eating chicken or fish.

Plan your meals ahead - the key to staying on top of your eating habits is to plan ahead. When you pl;an your meals ahead and cook it in advance, you will have a better chance of not visiting a fast food joint or a restaurant. So set a day every week to think of what you should be eating, and what fresh ingredients you should be buying - and cook in bulk for say, 3 days worth of meals. Portion the cooked foods for every meal and store it in your freezer. Doing it this way will not only encourage you to eat healthier, you will save money and take in better calorie foods.
