1. You should prepare yourself psychologically

4. You need to take a lot of calories
Calories are the chief source of fuel for the body. You can not be able to train intensely in the gym and yet you are lucking fuel in your blood stream. You need to take plenty of calories in your diet because they are needed in order to add mass. There are various sources of calories which include proteins, carbohydrates, healthy fat and bodybuilding supplements. Calories are the chief source of energy for the body and facilitate intense training. There are various rich sources of calories which include; carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fat. Proteins are the building blocks of muscles. Carbohydrates contain glycogen which is very useful in muscle development. Healthy fat also contain very high amounts of calories and therefore your cooking should be done using healthy fats such as vegetable oils.

5. Rest
You need to rest so that you can get enough energy to undertake intense training. When you are fatigued it becomes very hard to do any intense training.
