The little Peugeot 107 has stamped its authority on the small car market with its great looks, performance and economy and makes a great little run around for those who don't drive much, or it makes a fantastic city car for those who need to get around town with the least amount of hassle. Whilst the Peugeot 107 inconspicuously does its job there are whole bunch of facts about the car that most people wouldn't know about.
Here are five interesting facts about the Peugeot 107:
1 The Peugeot 107 was actually built as a joint venture with Toyota who released Aygo and with Citroen who released the Citroen C1. All these models are badge engineered versions of the same car.
2 The Peugeot 107 was designed by a man called Donato Coco, who is also famous for working as chief designer at Ferrari and was also responsible for the design of the Ferrari California.
3 The Peugeot 107 is not actually built in France as you might expect from a French car, but instead it is manufactured in Kolin in the Czech Republic.
4 In 2009 the Peugeot 107 received a bit of a facelift to pull it in line with the Citroen and Toyota. The Peugeot 107 was given the 'large mouth' look like many other of Peugeot's next generation vehicles.
5 In the UK drivers could buy a special version of the Peugeot 107- the Kiss FM model, which sported special stickers down the side of the vehicle. Kiss FM fans could pledge their allegiance to their favourite radio station by purchasing one. The rumour that the radio in the car could only be tuned to the Kiss FM channel has however been proven to be false!
The
Peugeot 107 Ferndown isn't a new forest inspired model that has been released by Peugeot, but if you're in or around the Ferndown area then you can pick up a great deal on a Peugeot 107.
