5 Myths About Men

Myths about men are generally created by women. They have the bad habit to label men after a simple idea, if two or more men are alike, all of them are the same. Well, these myths do not take into consideration education, ethnic group or religious beliefs and refer to relationships with women only.

1. Men like younger women

It is true that younger women are more attractive, but this does not mean that a man will leave his girlfriend or wife for a younger woman.

Sometimes it happens that guys get bored by just a pretty young face and appreciate that a mature woman is ready for a steady relationship.

2. Men are frightened by intelligent women

Women have the impression that men only want a pretty face instead of an intelligent girl that would make them fell less macho. This is not true. Guys appreciate women that can express themselves, that have their own opinion and a strong personality.

3. Men are intimidated by successful women

Lets consider this: what would a guy choose as a partner: a receptionist or a professional in marketing? Men like ambitious women that have a goal and do not feel frightened by them.

4. Men are afraid of marriage

They are not frightened to commit themselves to marriage or a serious relationship. There may be some issues too, like material aspects that prevent them to move on. There can also be psychological aspects too: they may be afraid of losing their independence but these are characteristic for men that are not mature enough.

5. Men are interested only by the physical appearance of women

Both sexes are interested in the physical appearances, at least at short notice but it does not mean that the partner should be only a pretty face. Men and women want a little bit of everything. Guys want looks and brains too, if the partner is just pretty, the relationship will not get serious.
