5 Minute Articles was put out by David Bullock and Rob Howard. The objective of this course is to teach you how to write an article in 5 minutes verses 20 minutes. They want to show you how to domainate ezine articles in just a matter of minutes. Writing articles can be a long, boring tedious process. And if you can't type and have poor english skills it could take you even longer. Even though articles are free, it could take you one thousand or more articles to get any decent results if you don't do it properly.

In fact I can attest to this as a full-time article writer, for the last 3 years article writing is all I've done. However in the last few months I've been exploring other linking methods with some success as well. But articles are still the best way to increase your traffic and search engine rankings, especially if you can consistently produce unique content people enjoy reading.

Article Writing has several advantages. The first benefit is the traffic you can receive from your author biography as people read your article and click on the anchor text link in your bio. The second benefit is if your website is optimized on-site properly, you can use articles to build up backlinks pointing to a specific keyword that will help your search engine rankings. In fact if you write enough articles you can improve the Page Rank to any page on your website.

The 5 Minute Articles course will teach you how to improve the click through rate to your articles. This could make writing one article as powerful as the last 5 you use to write in terms of receiving website traffic is concerned. The other thing this course will teach you is how to find out which of your competitors are writing the best articles and which articles are receiving the most traffic, so you can write similar articles and receive comparable traffic with these.

I've personally written articles for all the major article directories, however this course tends to focus on just one of the main article directories people use all the time. I can tell you from experience that article marketing can make you a full time income if you can write enough content. It's not the easiest way to get there but if you write the articles yourself it won't cost you anything and you can write an article in 10 minutes.

I suggest that whether you get this course or not, make sure you brush up on your typing skills and learn how to type fast without having to look at the keyword. And make sure you read a bunch of competitor articles. This will give you ideas on what readers are looking for when you create your own. Content is king and the more of it you have out there working for you, the bigger chance you have to drive more traffic and to become more successful in your niche market of choice.
