5 Inventions We'd Love To See In Our Electrical Stores

There may be plenty of exciting new gadgets on sale, but there are 5 that most of us would just love to see in the shops :

1. A Time Machine

Now, a Time Machine really would be one truly awesome bit of kit to own, especially if had been modelled on the Tardis! Mind you, most people wouldn't exactly turn their noses up at a time-travelling DeLorean a la 'Back to the Future', would they?

But where would you choose to go first; forwards or backwards??? Now, there's a thing! It would certainly be appealing to see what the future had in store, but there would be all kinds of amazing things to see in the past.

The dinosaurs, the first moon landing, the construction of the pyramids, the Thatcher years. Hmmm, maybe not.

2. A Laser Gun

Okay, so it may cause a bit of a furore amongst parents and teachers if shops were to start stocking futuristic firearms like the ones in 'Blade Runner', but just think how much fun it would be to own one! I mean, you wouldn't have to shoot at anyone to impress your mates; just owning a phaser would be cool enough in itself!

3. A Teleporter

Having your own Teleportation Device would not only be uber cool, it would also be uber useful! No more missed appointments because of traffic jams, no more waiting to get somewhere on the train and no more having to muster up the energy to get yourself off to bed in the evening!

Wow, just think of the possibilities. A Teleporter really would be a wicked accessory to have kicking around in any modern home.

4. A Light Sabre
