Also some whole grain to go with it. Some of the best breakfast you can have is whole-grain cereal with fresh berries, melon or bananas. Get the natural sugar your body craves, and the carbohydrates it needs to run on.

4. You need to take multivitamins everyday to get the right balance you need. There is no alternative for a diet that has a healthy balance of foods, but it is way too easy to go light on the must haves when you are dieting. Make sure that your body does not miss the nutrients it needs because of fewer calories. A good multivitamin should contain vitamin A, B6, B12, C, E, and K.

5. Eat plenty of fruits, and vegetables, like lettuce for starters. Do not just eat iceberg lettuce or salads. Dark greens have the same number of calories and carbohydrates, but pack alot more punch in the vitamins and other nutrients. You can substitute watercress, radicchio, or spinach for the lettuce, you add manganese, riboflavins, and other vitamins that are not in the lettuce. You can eat them steamed, or grilled for something a different than the usual.
