4 Things To Get Your Articles Ready To Submit

With article marketing we are trying to brand ourselves, drive traffic to your website, and hopefully build our email list. Writing and submitting articles is certainly a good way to do this and make money online if you keep a few things in mind.

I view submitting articles as articles you will be submitting to article directories as well as to your blog. You should also be putting these into blog networks as well.

1. Why are you writing your article? I know I just listed three things, but you really should be focused on the reader.

You are trying to make a connection with them and the article you are writing is how you're doing. Don't lose focus on that!

2. Maximize your articles when you submit them. I like to use Submit Your Article and create unique versions of the articles.

This way when they're submitted to the article directories they have a better chance of being published.

Also I like to take one of the unique version of it and post it on my blog. I then bookmark that to social directories using a service called Only Wire.

Just to be safe I will always publish it on my blog and bookmark it before I allow it to be submitted by SYA to the article directories.

3. Blog networks. These are a great way to get your articles online in other ways than your own blog or article directories.

You will not have a resource box in these articles when you submit them to a blog network. However, you can hyperlink keyword phrases back to your website home page as well as other pages on your website and blog.

Over time this can give you valuable backlinks. It is also spreading your links around in various ways.

4. Be consistent with article marketing. There's nothing wrong with sitting down and writing a batch of articles all at one time.

If you're in the mood to write this is a great time to crank out 10 or 20 articles. However, you want those to be submitted over a period of time to the article directories.

This gives them a better chance to be published. It also appears more natural to search engines as opposed to getting a large amount of back links all in one day.

Also be consistent and posting articles to your blog. You can adjust the published date and spread your articles out so they are not all publishing on the same day.

Just be sure that they are published on your blog before they are submitted to the article directories.
