4 Questions (and Answers) To Double Your Income With Love As The Cornerstone

If you want to double your income, the first thing you need to do is double your happiness. If you don't do what you love, you can have all the money in the world and still be miserable. Remember that the trick to double your income isn't so much the answers that I give you but the questions that you ask yourself.

1. What do I love?

This is hard for most of us to answer off the top of our heads without censoring ourselves. So many times, the first thing that we think of doesn't seem like the first thing that you should think of. Stop worrying about this and just go with it. After you come up with your list, think about how often you do each of those things. Are you doing the things you love more than anything else?

2. Can you still double your income if you find out you aren't doing what you love?

Don't get discouraged if you find that you aren't doing any of the things on your list that you love to do. Many people that live an un-mentored life experience this problem. This doesn't have to be a bad thing.

If everyone were already doing what they loved, there would really be no need for anyone to ask questions pertaining to success in their life whether it is how to double your income or how to live your life in happiness. The grind of everyday life makes it difficult for us to see the big picture sometimes.

However, now that you know what you love doing. Letting a stagnant or sad life remain is not going to double your income or anything else good for that matter. It could double your stress and strife, though. Look deeply within, and only do those things that you love.

3. What if my loves keep changing?

It's okay if your loves change. If life didn't have changes, we'd all be dead anyway. Life changes. People change their hobbies, their marital status, their clothes, and their mind. It's okay to change your loves. Don't be hard on yourself.

Life changes when you are open to learning new things. The moment you read a book, watch a movie, have your first kid, or even have a medical condition arise, your whole life changes. Stay focused and keep moving towards what you love.

4. Can I be sure that moving towards my loves will help me financially?

Striving to double your income is not the focus here. It falls short of what you really want out of life--happiness. You want to be comfortable and stress-free. Following your loves doesn't guarantee financial success, but it does boost your self-esteem and put you on the course for accomplishing your goals.

Not that to double your income is a bad goal. In fact, it is a very good goal with clear-cut guidelines once you figure out the amount of time you are giving yourself to do it. However, following the simple rule of love has helped most of my mentored clients get more stuff than they ever asked for as a side effect.
