1.) Begging And Pleading

Begging and pleading never works, but it is often the first method men try after a breakup. When you first realize you want your girlfriend back, you panic. You feel like you need to get her back ASAP or she'll end up dating someone else. Therefore, you start sending her texts and voicemails, asking her to please just call you back and talk to you.

You tell her you'll change. You tell her you'll do anything if she'll just take you back and give you another chance. You tell her how much you love her and miss her hoping that will make her want you. Instead, you simply come across as needy and desperate and make her pull away even more.

2.) Apologizing

Similar to begging and pleading, trying to apologize is another ineffective way to get your girlfriend back. If you've done wrong in the relationship, it's perfectly acceptable to apologize and you SHOULD apologize. However, do it ONCE and then move on.

Many guys make the mistake of apologizing too much. You might believe that if you say you're sorry enough that you will be forgiven. However, your girlfriend is not interested in your words, but in your actions. Never apologize if you're not sincere and never apologize repeatedly.

3.) Buying Your Way Back In

When begging, pleading, and apologizing don't get your girlfriend back, you may be tempted to buy your way back into the relationship. You might buy flowers. You might buy a gift of some kind like a necklace or other jewelry. Doing this sends exactly the wrong message at the wrong time.

These types of actions should be done when you're in the relationship and things are going good to show your girl that you love her, not as ways to try and get her back after you've been dumped. She'll see it as an attempt to buy back her love and you'll be wasting your time and money.
